Roofing jobs are dangerous and expensive. Getting material onto the roof is hazardous, labor-intensive work when you manually carry items up a ladder. Falls can result in grave injuries and even death. If you are caught in violation of OSHA’s “three points of contact” regulations, you face large fines.
By listening closely to our customers, we are creating safer, higher quality material handling alternatives for the industry—such as the new electric Safety Hoist, which comes in two load capacities. Patents are currently pending. We have developed the EH-250 (250 lb. capacity) and EH-500 (500 lb. capacity).
Both electric material hoist models run on regular 110V AC current, so you can plug your electric hoist into any household current.
It is the first material hoist on the market to move the operator safely away from the load by using a uniquely designed electric hoist with pendant-controlled operation. The pendant is connected to the hoist with a 16-foot cord, allowing the operator to stand a safe distance from the load—greatly enhancing operator safety. If the electric hoist loses electricity while in operation, a mechanical brake built into the hoist will hold the carriage in its existing position.
Our new electric ladder hoists also offer a cost-effective solution to noisy gas engine material hoists. Gas engines on conventional material hoists have many advantages, but are noisy, unsuitable for indoor use, and are not environmentally friendly. Our electric hoists are quiet, environmentally-friendly with no carbon emissions, can be used indoors and outdoors, and can handle up to 500 pounds without sacrificing speed or efficiency.
This new electric power ladder also features controlled descent, allowing you to smoothly bring items down the track as well as up.
The drive belt, bearings, and brake are now encased in the new hoist mechanism, reducing maintenance. Operations in close proximity and the risk they may introduce can be eliminated with the pendant-controlled operation.
Our electric hoists are made with fewer parts than our gas hoists for easy assembly. Like our other material hoists, the electric hoists are light weight and easy to transport. Wheels make moving them even safer. Each comes with a full 1-year warranty.
Our new electric Safety Hoist material hoist is changing the game
Simple • Safe • Affordable • Environmentally-Friendly
Each Safety Hoist ladder hoist is simple to operate. Its one-person operation requires very little training. All of our power ladders are durable yet light weight, which makes them easily portable. Our roofing ladders are perfect for moving material to where it actually needs to go—high-pitched roofs and hard-to-reach areas included. No special tools are required for assembly or operation.
Our shingle elevators are safe and OSHA-compliant. Our unique unloading ramp allows you to discharge materials away from the edge of the roof for increased safety and efficiency. Our custom support brace provides extra support for longer ladder lengths. All of this combines to reduce both the risk of injuries and injuries themselves.
Your savings in medical leave days and workers compensation claims make our ladderlifts even more cost-effective than other automated approaches for moving materials. You also save time, effort, and labor costs.
