Dan Finley, Safety Hoist Company’s Shop Foreman

Our employees are what make Safety Hoist Company a fun, challenging, and unique place to work. At Safety Hoist, we take pride in knowing that our employees are professional, hardworking, and reliable. So, what better way to show what working at Safety Hoist is like than to have our employees tell you? We want to give you the ability to hear right from our employees in varying roles in the company why they chose to work here, and what gets them excited to come to work each day. Last month we introduced you to our Operations Manager, Nick Bleiler. This month, we are proud to introduce to you our Shop Foreman, Dan Finley. Dan has been with the company for almost two years. He heard of the position/company when he found out that his boss at GamaJet™ was leaving and buying another company called Safety Hoist. His boss at the time is our current President & CEO, Robert Delaney. When Delaney left GamaJet™, he knew he had to take Dan with him. Delaney recognized that Dan was skilled in many different areas of expertise and gave him an offer he couldn’t refuse. Almost two years later, Dan plays an important part in the day-to-day functions of our company. “I get to do a lot of different things. Coming to work never actually feels like coming to work, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.” Dan stated when asked what he likes most about the company. Some of Dan’s responsibilities include welding, plumbing, electrical work, overseeing the employees in the warehouse and being Robert Delaney’s property manager. One of Dan’s major accomplishments over the last two years was assisting our team in the development of the ALL NEW patent-pending electric hoist. The team’s expertise and incredible knowledge of the safety standards in the industry are the reason we have created such an innovative new hoist. The electric hoist is the FIRST hoist on the market to COMPLETELY remove the operator from under the load, placing them at a safe 16-ft. distance away. It also runs on regular 110V AC power supply and can bring materials up AND down. Check out our website and social media channels for more information about this amazing new product from our team of experts. Some other major accomplishments that Dan has been a part of include the development of the Flat Panel/Solar Panel Cradle, and the creation of our brand new trade show display. Dan worked closely with our Operations Manager and our Engineer to bring his ideas to life. Dan is constantly keeping up with the safety standards in the industry, as well as creating a fun work environment for the warehouse employees. Stay tuned to our website and social media pages for the latest inventions and innovations from Dan Finley.
