What makes a job special is the people you get to work with along the way. Lucky for us, Safety Hoist Company has had some pretty incredible employees over the years, which makes the work we do even more fulfilling. Our small work team feels more like a family, and our family lost one of our members on Friday, September 10th.
Barbara McGlade passed away on Friday, September 10th, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones. Barb has been the Office Manager at Safety Hoist Company for over 15 years. If you’ve ever called us, chances are you’ve had the pleasure of speaking with Barb. She was so dedicated to our product line and always went above and beyond for all of our customers. She was a huge asset to our team. Barb was so passionate - not only about work but about her family, her friends and her favorite vacation spot- Ireland. A birthday or special occasion never went by without Barb getting flowers, giving you a big hug and making your work day a little brighter. Getting to work alongside someone as passionate, thoughtful and kind as Barb is something that none of us here at Safety Hoist Company will ever take for granted.
Barb’s upbeat attitude, spunkiness and overall kindness will forever be missed. Our company lost a bright light and an incredibly good person. We will try to live up to the shining example Barbara set for our company every day.
