Are You OSHA Compliant?
June is National Safety Month and now, more than ever, people need to be reminded of the importance of taking precaution before serious injuries occur. Although it seems silly to think workers would risk their life while on the job, that is not the case. Unfortunately, there are thousands of incidents each year of workers performing their job without adequate protection.
Every year, falls from ladders make up a third of the leading cause of death in construction, namely falling. Carrying material up a ladder is in violation of OSHA's 3 Points of Contact rule. OSHA ( Occupational Safety and Health Administration) aims to ensure that employees work in a safe and healthful environment by setting and enforcing standards, and by providing training, outreach, education and assistance. Employees must comply with all applicable OSHA standards.
At Safety Hoist Company we are PROUD to be OSHA compliant. Not only do we provide simple, safe and affordable products, but we follow the law!
Failure to follow OSHA standards yields huge fines along with potential injuries and possible death due to falling. Why would you risk that?
